Snoop Dogg Wins An Emmy. He shared the big news on Twitter. The Superbowl Half-Time game was spectacular. It featured some West Coast royalty. Headlining the event was none other than Dr.Dre.
Of course, Snoop hit the stage with his famous tunes. There was a guest appearance by 50 Cent. One of my favorite singers Mary J Blige performed. Obviously, Snoop’s performance was one of his greatest.

In addition, executive producers Jay -Z (Shawn Carter), Desiree Perez, and Jesse Collins won Emmys. According to Black Enterprise, executive co-producers Dave Meyers and Dionne Harmon won Emmys.
It was the first time the halftime show showcased hip-hop artists. Equally important to note, rapper Eminem took a knee. However, his instructions were not to protest. But Eminem totally ignored the request.
His protest went viral the next morning. I digress. When we look back at Snoop’s career it is quite impressive. In the first place, Snoop started his career as a gangsta rapper.
Although he had a rough start, Snoop has become a notable name in the rap game. Not only that, but he has managed to stay relevant. In fact, most Def Row artists changed the trajectory of rap forever.
And, Snoop is one of gangsta rap’s influential rappers. Furthermore, Snoop has evolved into an actor, music writer, and all-around entertainer. Congratulations Snoop!!!
