Nas and Hit-Boy Compare Themselves To Legendary Duo Mike and Quincy
Nas and Hit-Boy have high energy in the newly released single Michael & Quincy.
The 49-year-old Nas (real name Nasir bin Olu Dara Jones) teamed up with the 35-year-old Hit-Boy (real name Chauncey Alexander Hollis, Jr.) on all three KD albums.
The powerful track off his latest release, King’s Disease III, channels the legendary Michael Jackson and Quincy Jones duo.
Mike and Q are one of the most dynamic musical artist/producer hook-ups in history.
Like that pairing, these two are proving to be outstanding.
You can see the video below.
Now we can’t be sure if it’s a coincidence or not, but Jeezy and DJ Drama also shares a video with the two of them also comparing themselves to Mike and Q.
This new release is the first visual from the KD III album released on November 11th.
In its first week of sales, 29,000 album-equivalent units were sold.
Additionally, it entered the Billboard 200 Albums chart at No. 10, his 16th top 10 entry.
Though it charts below that of its predecessor KD II, the album is well-received.
With 17 tracks to listen to, there are no features on this project, unlike KD 1 and KD II.
