The taping of the video was well underway in Miami when violence ensued.
The 38-year-old Moroccan-American rapper was filming in Miami Gardens outside The Licking restaurant when shots rang out.
Pure chaos erupted.
According to several reports, multiple people were hit.
However, authorities say there are no reports of fatalities at this time.
The terrifying ordeal began when at least one person opened fire and injured upwards of ten folks.
It is not known if French Montana – real name Karim Kharbouch – was one of the people hit.
TMZ reports that a witness on the scene tells them that security got him out of the area safely and without incident.
This is not the first time French Montana has been at the scene of gunfire.
Back in 2003, two gunmen shot at him as he left a recording studio in New York.
That time he was struck in the head.
While he survived the shooting, he was hospitalized for several weeks.
Ironically, Montana was investigated for the incident, but the case was eventually dismissed.
Montana believed he was set up by someone close to him and his circle.
In this latest incident, the assailant is not yet known.
