Beyonce Platinum Certified Status With The Single ‘Break My Soul’
Beyonce reaches Platinum status with her ‘Break My Soul’ single.
It is the lead single released from her highly successful latest music project, Renaissance.
Ahead of the July album drop, the single debuted back in June.
By August, it reached Gold status and later won the Song of the Year at the 2022 Soul Train Awards show.

The popular tune is up for several 2023 Grammy Awards, including –
- Song of the Year
- Record of the Year
- Best Dance/Electronic Recording
- Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical (for the Terry Hunter remix)
Already making history upon its release, the single topped the Billboard Hot 100.
This feat made the 41-year-old superstar the first woman ever to rack up at least 20 top 10 hits as a solo act, and also 10 or more as a group member.
Now there is more good news to share.
The song is now Certified Platinum, according to the RIAA.
That means over one million equivalent units sold, y’all!
