Update: August Vs Tory Debacle. This story is heating up. More video footage has surfaced. And, it appears there was some sort of situation.

Are They Trying To Cancel Tory Lanez?

Update: August Vs Tory Debacle. The LA district attorney’s office started an investigation. It is for the alleged assault of August Alsina. We reported that Alsina was accusing Lanez of assaulting him.

The alleged incident happened on August 17. Apparently, Alsina did not shake Lanez’s hand, as reported by Billboard. There is some video footage of it that has surfaced. Therefore, Lanez allegedly was upset by it.

So, we see that the authorities are getting involved. This could be because there are some charges coming soon. However, we still don’t have all the details. But it does seem like Lanez is in trouble.

I was wondering, is this some sort of setup? We have yet to see any video footage of the alleged assault. Here is some of what the LA County district attorney’s office revealed,

“We are aware of the allegations that the defendant attacked artist August Alsina and are investigating these claims,” the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office said in a statement to Pitchfork. “The allegations are serious and will be thoroughly examined.”

Having said this, Lanez keeps finding his name in the media. Is Lanez guilty of fighting with Alsina? Or is this a witch hunt? Be that as it may, Lanez needs to lay low.

Not long ago, Lanez was involved in an incident with rapper Megan Thee Stallion. We still have not heard the outcome of that case. Nevertheless, Lanez now has to face these new allegations.
