The incident, which occurred in NYC, made headlines. Things took a horrible turn during a giveaway for his followers as young people began to storm Union Square Park.

This started when Cenat announced he would hand out free computers and Play Station 5s.
According to CNN, Cenat was not expecting thousands to show up for the gifts.
But Cenat’s giveaway created a vast crowd to assemble.
As people stormed Union Square, the groups went wild.
And a riot formed with people fighting and accosting NYPD police.
Unfortunately, police and some in the crowd were injured.
NYPD Chief Jeffrey Maddrey said at one of two Friday new conferences.
Soon the park and the surrounding streets were overrun with people, obstructing vehicular and pedestrian traffic,” he said.
“We went from 300 kids to a couple of thousands of kids in minutes,”
The incident quickly went viral and caught the gaming community’s attention.
Concerns have been raised about Cenat acquiring a permit from NYC.
Things may not have gotten out of hand.
Nevertheless, Cenat was removed from the crowd for protection.
