How Do We Stop The Senseless Killing Of Black Men?
Rappers Dying Is An Epidemic. Hosts O’God and SamAnt really presented a needed dialogue. Needless to say, every time a young black man dies we feel it deeply.
It saddens us to have to keep reporting bad news. Especially, as it relates to young black rappers being killed.
Unfortunately, another black man is dead because of violence. In reality, social media may be the culprit. I often wonder will the senseless killing of black men stop.
Is there something we can do to prevent the death of black rappers? Furthermore, is it something rappers can do? In other words, how do we stop the murder of young black men?
Particularly young black rappers. It really seems hopeless at this point. However, I truly believe there has to be a solution. My heart goes out to the rapper’s families.
I know firsthand what the families experience. The trauma and pain of burying your children are horrific. You never fully recover from such a tragedy. The death of young black men has become an epidemic.
Let’s take a look at some of the famous rappers who were murdered. There is one rapper who stands out most. Ermias Asghedom aka Nipsey Hussle was gunned down in LA.
It was one of the most horrific crimes. He was shot down in broad daylight. His life was cut short in his prime.
Of course, the death of Xxxtencion was another great loss. In addition, King Von was yet another rapper who lost his life senselessly. This list goes on and on.
Unfortunately, we have not seen the last of these tragedies. Simply put, young black men must learn to value each other’s lives.
