Playboi Carti Arrested On Assault Charges. The Fulton County District Attorney’s office may press charges.
Apparently, the rapper’s girlfriend made the claims. The woman claims to be carrying Playboi’s child.
According to Complex, the woman was pushed allegedly choked and pushed by Playboi.
He then allegedly went after as she entered her automobile. This all took place about paternity of her child.
Also, she claims she and Playboi were in a relationship for 2 years. Of course, the alleged incident happened in December 2022.
But we are just hearing about it. Jordan Carter aka Playboi Carti has collaborated with Lil Uzi Vert.
His mentor A$AP Rocky helped him to create a promising rap career.
A$AP Rocky also helped him sign to Interscope Records, as reported by All Music.
After meeting up with A$AP Rocky Playboi did other collaborations with Nicki Minaj, Young Thug, Travis Scott, and Chief Keef.
Some of Playboi’s albums (Playboi Carti, Die Lit, and Whole Lotta Red) did well.
Unfortunately, Playboi has been in trouble in the past. One of the alleged incidents almost led to his imprisonment.
Apparently, Playboi alleged punched a driver in Gretna, Scotland (2018). He was fined for the incident.
Then Playboi was arrested for allegedly gun and drug charges in Georgia.
Now, we are hearing new reports about his issues with the law. So far, Playboi has not gone to trial for this new case.
To sum it up, Playboi continues to get into trouble of some kind or another.
Keep in mind, Playboi is innocent until proven guilty. Generally speaking, will these alleged assault charges stick.
Especially since, the alleged incident happened in December.
As I mentioned, the rapper attorney is confident charges will be dismissed.
In his statement to TMZ, Brian Steel shared this,
“Mr. Carter was falsely accused. Pursuant to my communications with the Fulton County District Attorney‘s office, this case will be dismissed without any prosecution or litigation.”
