Nipsey Hussle’s Alleged Killer Trial Begins. Finally, after a few delays, Eric Holder’s trial started on June 2, 2022. The jury selection has begun.

Nipsey Hussle’s Alleged Killer Trial Begins. Famous rapper Ermias”Nipsey Hussle” Asghedom was gunned down. It all happened in front of his clothing store “The Marathon.”
His untimely death sent shockwaves throughout the hip-hop community. Many people wanted to know who shot him. Fortunately, there were witnesses at the scene.
A woman identified Holder as the shooter, as reported by BET Allegedly, the unidentified woman was the getaway driver. Later, she was released.
Two days later, Los Angeles police captured suspect Eric Holder (29). Later we found out that Holder and Asegehedom had a verbal dispute.
Authorities mentioned that Holder left the store. But he returned and allegedly shot Asegehedom. Everyone, including myself, could not hold back our tears. It was such a tragedy.
Aseghedom had escaped the gang life. He went on to have great success in his rap career. Not only that, but Asegehedom gave back generously to his community.
One of his prize projects was, “Destination Crenshaw.” Also, Aseghedom created a space for young people named “Vector 9.” Vector 9 was a community center dedicated to science and technology.
At-risk youth received services to help them with employment. Crenshaw is an impoverished community in Los Angeles. In fact, it is where Aseghedom grew up.
Therefore, it was important for him to create a space for youth. In his own words, Aseghedom shared this,
“I grew up in gang culture. We dealt with death, with murder. It was like living in a war zone, where people die on these blocks and everybody is a little bit immune to it. I guess they call it post – traumatic stress, when you have people that have been at war for such a long time. I think L.A. suffers from that because it’s not normal yet we embrace it like is after a while.”
Having said this, clearly, the youth he was trying to help felt his loss. Just as much as anyone else. So, many people were greatly saddened by his death.
Covid – 19 Prevented The Trial To Begin
Nevertheless, Holder’s trial has begun. Holder’s trial was postponed because of Covid-19. However, know Holder’s jurors will be selected.
Afterward, Holder’s attorney will have to prove his innocence. Which I think will be difficult. Especially since witnesses saw Holder allegedly shoot Asgehedom.
Nevertheless, we will all be watching to see. Of course, Asghedom’s family is faced with reliving the tragedy of his death.
