Nick Gordon, Bobbi Kris’ Ex-Boyfriend dead at 30. 3 years after he was ordered to pay $36 Million in the wrongful death of Bobbi Kristina Brown, the daughter of R&B singer Bobby Brown and superstar Whitney Houston.
Nick Gordon Ordered To Pay $36 Million In the Wrongful Death Case Of Bobbi Kristina Brown
People.com reports that the death of Nick Gordon was confirmed by his brother, Jack Walker, Jr. Gordon died on New Year’s Day, following a drug overdose. Having suffered multiple heart attacks, he was rushed to the hospital and later died.
Known to the world after the death of Whitney Houston, Nick Gordon was introduced as the ‘big brother’ of Bobbi Kris. Soon they presented themselves as a couple, and at one point claimed to be married. After her death, singer Bobby Brown revealed that the two were never husband and wife.
After Bobbi was found unresponsive in a bathtub, in an eerie manner similar to the way her mother was found, Gordon was a prime suspect. Eventually, a civil suit held him responsible for her death. Though he has always maintained that he had nothing to do with her death, he was ordered to pay $36 million dollars to her estate.
Bobby Brown, the father of Bobbi Kris has implicated Gordon as suspicious, due to his close proximity in both cases, the death of Whitney Houston on February 11, 2012 and Bobbi Kristina being found needing medical attention on January 31, 2015. Bobbi Kris never recovered and died 6 months later.
No one will ever know exactly what went down on those fateful days.
