TMZ reports he was taken into custody by Cache County Sheriff’s office. There are a slew of charges against the rapper. They include possession of other controlled substances and dangerous weapons.
In addition, YB is being charged with identity fraud and forgery, attempting to procure drugs. And the list goes on and on. At this time, there has been no bail set.
This could very well be the end of his house arrest. His house arrest conditions were changed after having a mental issue last December.
A judge allowed the rapper to have mental health treatment, as stated by Variety. However, being on house arrest has not allegedly helped YB.
Details Of Multiple Offenses Revealed
Fox13 News reports that multiple law enforcement agencies were involved. The FBI, the Secret Service, and a SWAT team allegedly conducted a search.
His residence was allegedly searched. It was determined that YB allegedly engaged in “the pattern of unlawful activity includes violations of the Utah Controlled Substances Act, the Identity Fraud Act, and Fraud.”
No other information was released about his arrest, although we suspect YB will not be returning home. Once the Feds get involved, it can be messy. Somehow, YB just can’t stay away from trouble.
Whether YB has a future in rap is uncertain at this time. This is a tragedy for YB, whose fans simply adore him.
