Rapper Lil Durk Accused of Stalking
Lil Durk Faces Additional Charges Of Stalking Leading To Death.
According to TMZ court documents, Lil Durk has been accused of one count of stalking resulting in death. By now, we are all aware of Lil Durk’s alleged involvement in a murder-for-hire plot.
These allegations led to Lil Durk’s jail time since October 2025. The rapper, who rose to fame with his mixtapes and collaborations with other artists, now faces serious jail time.
Attorney Drew Findling, his client is answering the complaint of being charged with stalking.
In August 2022, Saviaya Robinson, rapper Quando Rondo, was shot and killed, as stated by Complex. It’s being said that Lil Durk is a member of the rap collective OTF (Only The Family).
This crew (OTF) was accused of gunning down Quando Rondo’s cousin in Los Angeles. Allegedly, the shooting was retaliation for rapper King Von’s death.
King Von was shot down in Atlanta in November 2020. As a result, prosecutors are accusing Lil Durk of putting the hit in place.
During this entire time, Lil Durk claims he is innocent. And, his music lyrics have allegedly been implicated in the murder-for-hire plot.
Because of these serious allegations, Lil Durk’s rap career has been derailed.
Facing Serious Charges in Death Threat Case
Lil Durk is now facing serious charges in connection with the stalking and death threat case. The allegations against him are not to be taken lightly.
They involve serious criminal behavior that could result in significant legal repercussions. Lil Durk, the lead defendant, is being charged by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Central District of California.
The rapper’s legal team is working to defend him against the accusations. But the gravity of the charges looms large over his future.
His Attorney, Drew Findling, spoke about RICO cases in an interview with DJ Akademiks. Although Lil Durk is not being charged with RICO, Drew made some comparisons.
Here is some of what Drew said,
“It made hitting a baseball easier,” Findling recalled. “It just did. … That’s what RICO is. RICO is for the weak-legged prosecutor that’s scared of losing because they know it makes things easier because you don’t have to prove those offenses, you just have to show a pattern of behavior. RICO to a prosecutor is steroids to a baseball player in the ’90s. It just makes their job easier. Then you combine that with this crazy, madness template in Fulton County, Georgia.”
Findling claimed that all the cases follow the same playbook and referred to the music industry-centered cases as “bullshit.”
“The reason why, at least in the music industry, it is such bullshit and so unfair,” he said. “Look at some of those ‘overt acts,’ right? A picture. I mean, it would literally be a picture at a gas station. … So a client goes to their old neighborhood, takes a picture, and now they’re going back there and the Instagram picture is an ‘over act’ to support a RICO allegation.”
So, you can see that Attorney Drew Findling feels strongly about unfair legalities in hip-hop cases. I mentioned earlier that Lil Durk is not being held on RICO. However, his music lyrics have come into question.
It appears the prosecutors were trying to tie Lil Durk’s lyrics to the Savayia murder. Having said this, prosecutors were unsuccessful in making his lyrics relevant to the indictment.
On the other hand, it may seem that not using Lil Durk’s lyrics is a win. He was still hit with new charges of stalking, which allegedly resulted in Quando Rondo’s cousin Saviaya’s death.
Even Lil Durk’s family has reason to believe he is being mistreated. They put out a statement about their belief,
” that his case was based on his lyrics being “false evidence” in the case. “The recent developments in Durk’s legal case have brought a harsh truth to light: the government presented false evidence to a grand jury to indict him,” the statement, issued on Apr. 29, reads. “This isn’t justice. That’s a violation of the very system that’s supposed to protect all of us.”
While Lil Durk is behind bars, the indictment will be heard sometime this month.
