Kay Flock Indicted On Racketeering Conspiracy Charges
Kay Flock indicted.
Already behind bars, the rapper is currently in state custody for a 1st-degree murder charge.
The 19-year-old drill rapper from the Bronz – real name Kevin Perez – is now facing new charges –
- Racketeering Conspiracy
- Federal Murder
- Attempted Murder
The U.S. Justice Department names the rapper and seven additional folks in a release, accusing them of running the “Sev Sice” and “Third Side” Bronz gangs.
Among the alleged crimes, the unit faces accusations of executing a run of violent crimes, including attempted murder.
Prosecutors say the fans ran rampant, engaging in shootouts across the Belmont neighborhoods.
After this, they celebrated those acts through music and social media.
In a statement by U.S. Attorney Damian Williams –
“Over a span of several years, the members of these gangs allegedly terrorized neighborhoods in the Bronx and Manhattan by killing and shooting other people. Through these charges, we will hold Sev Side and Third Side members responsible for plaguing our communities with gun violence.”
Additionally, Keechant L. Sewell, the NYPD Commissioner, has this to say about the case –
“The deadly nexus of gangs and illegal guns in New York City is a grave threat to public safety in our city. Combatting this crisis is the NYPD’s top priority, and today’s indictments are another step toward ridding our streets of violence and fear. I want to thank the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York and everyone else involved with this case who worked to make our city safer for all the people we serve.”
Flock found his music career taking off in 2020.
First, he finds success with a string of singles, notably “Shake It“.
“Shake It” features Cardi B, Dougie B and Bory300.

His debut mixtape “The DOA” is the first official project out of the box.
However, by 2021 he found himself in trouble with the law.
The young rapper is behind bars right now at Riker’s Island in state custody
The charge he is currently facing is the alleged murder of 24-year-old Hwascar Hernandez.
He was shot and killed outside a barbershop in Harlem back in 2021.
With this new indictment, Kay Flock is now being transferred to federal custody pending trial.
