Henry Ruggs III Was Sentenced.
After months of legal proceedings, Henry Ruggs III has finally received his sentencing.
The 24-year-old athlete was involved in a fatal car crash in Nevada in November 2021.
Which resulted in the death of, 23-year-old Tina Tintor.
According to reports by TMZ, Ruggs was leaving Topgolf near The Strip.
And, allegedly Ruggs was said to have been drunk driving his Corvette 156 mph.
At the time, Ruggs’ blood alcohol content was 0.16 allegedly.
That was nearly twice the legal limit.
His gas tank allegedly ruptured during the impact.
Unfortunately, the impact of the collision caused Tintor’s car to set fire.
Ultimately, killing Tintor (23) and her golden retriever, Max.
He was sentenced 3 to 10 years in the fatal DUI, as stated by ESPN.
After the incident, the former wide receiver, who was released by the Las Vegas Raiders.
Although, he has expressed deep remorse for his actions.
This sentence will affect his career in the long run.
Needless to say, Ruggs will be able eligible for parole after 3 years.
