Ciara Covers Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue

Ciara’s Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover is amongst 4 celebrities chosen for the honor. And she definitely does not disappoint.

Ciara’s Sports Illustrated Cover Sizzles, Russell Wilson Gushes

Ciara is one of four women occupying the cover of the 2022 swimsuit issue of Sports Illustrated magazine.

This year, the issue is celebrating 28 powerful women.

And the 36-year-old singer, and wife of Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson, couldn’t be happier to be on the cover.

The mag announced the cover models for the sizzling issue and they are –

• Ciara (36-year old singer)
• Kim Kardashian (41-year old reality star)
• Maye Musk (74-year-old mom of Elon Musk)
• Yumi Nu (36-year-old plus-sized model)

All four ladies are shot in separate locations.

While Ciara’s sizzling shots are taken in the cool waters of Barbados, Kim Kardashian’s photos are captured in the Dominican Republic.

Additionally, Maye Musk (the mom of the world’s richest man, Elon Musk) is photographed in Belize. She is the oldest person to ever grace the cover of the issue.

And the beautiful Yumi Nu, who is the first curvaceous model of Asian descent to be featured on the cover, was photographed in the beautiful waters of Montenegro.

All these ladies are gorgeous and deserving, but let’s turn our focus back to the 1, 2 Step singer.

Ciara oozes sexiness.

Here’s what the “Level Up” singer had to say about being on this year’s cover –

“I’ve always dreamt of being on this cover, ever since I was really young and especially as an entertainer, it’s always been pretty significant in the entertainment space. So it’s a dream come true for me, and it was a special day when I got the call.”

And her husband is also here for it.

Penning a sweet letter to his wife inside the accompanying article, Ciara’s hubby, Russell says –

“As you can probably tell, I’m incredibly proud of my wife. And now that she’s on the cover of SI Swimsuit, that’s one more thing for me to take pride in. I know it’s something she’s always wanted. And I know she’ll use the visibility that comes with being on the cover to inspire even more people—not only as a mother and the beautiful angel and the powerful woman that she is, but also as the businesswoman that she is, the fashion icon that she is.”

But that’s not all he said, he went on to write –

“That’s what my wife does. She inspires people because she connects with them. She tilts rooms when she walks into them; it really seems like all the furniture just slides her way. Maybe it’s an interaction with a fan, where she’ll suggest they take a selfie together before the fan can even ask. Or it might be a far more serious situation. I remember our first visit to Seattle Children’s Hospital, when a mother of a boy who was ill held on to her for a good five minutes without letting go. That’s the kind of woman Ciara is—a ray of light.”
