H.E.R. Jumps To #1 On Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay Chart
H.E.R. (real name Gabriella Wilson) has something to celebrate already in the new year.
Her Chris Brown assisted track is her 1st #1 for 2022.
The songstress just reached this milestone at the top spot of Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay Chart.
Jumping from #3 to #1 on December 30th, H.E.R. grabbed her first chart-topper for the new year.
And it comes from her gold-selling debut album, “Back Of My Mind.”
Garnering 2 Grammy nods, she’s in the running for Best R&B Album and Album Of The Year.
Additionally, she’s nominated 6 more times, bringing her career nomination total to 21 so far.
Topping the same chart twice in 2021, one was a collaboration, the other she did solo.
“Gotta Move On” perched its way to the leaderboard of Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay Chart with assistance from Toni Braxton.
Her second time there was a solo effort with “Damage“, which went Platinum.
As for all women, H.E.R. ranks 3rd for most #1 singles.
