Fivio Foreign, Queen Naija, Visual For ‘What’s My Name’ Also Features Coi Leray
Finally, Fivio Foreign released his debut album, The B.I.B.L.E in its entirety, which he proclaimed will go viral.
In the official visual for the single What’s My Name, Fivio (real name Maxie Lee Ryles, III) taps Queen Naija and Coi Leray.
But perhaps the bigger news is that the song beautifully samples Destiny Childs’s huge hit song, Say My Name.
And not only that but the 32-year-old rapper/songwriter also uses influences from other Destiny Child songs, Soldier and Survivor in the track.
However, Fivio didn’t exactly have a smooth clearing of the song, as Beyonce had to approve of the record first, and she had a few requests.
Previously explaining his difficulties getting Bey’s approval, he told Hot 97 earlier this year –
“She had to hear it. She heard it. It was a little vulgar, a little bit for her, at first. “I cleaned it up, I cleaned it up a lot. It was like, ‘You can’t be talking about girls like that!’
Thankfully, Queen Bey gave her approval and now we get to experience it.
