Cardi B Reaches Diamond Status With ‘Bodak Yellow”!!!
Cardi B reaches Diamond Status with the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) with her debut single, “Bodak Yellow”.

After female rapper Cardi B gained Diamond status with her single “Bodak Yellow”, she becomes the first female rapper to do so. Right on the hills of Lauryn Hill becoming the first rapper to reach this milestone with her album, “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill”.
And for those who don’t know what reaching Diamond status means…her first single with a major label moved 10 million units.
As reported by Billboard, in comparison, her “WAP” single is halfway to Diamond, with 5X multi-platinum as of March 3rd.
Cardi reveals that her record label, Atlantic Records surprised her with a plaque. In response, this is what she had to say –
“I just want to say thank you guys so much because without you guys, it wouldn’t have happened…It really made my day. And it really uplifted me.”
Several of her peers congratulated the WAP singer, including Lil’ Yachty, G-Eazy, Kodak Black, and JT of City Girls.
