Dipset And The Lox Verzuz With A Live Audience

The live stream of two of the iconic rap groups in history was held last night.  This may have been the largest Verzus to date. The live audience was a bonus. The Livestream was held in New York City the Mecca of hip-hop.

Jadakiss Came Away With The Crown Of MVP

Just in case you are not familiar with Verzuz here is a quick synopsis. The co-creator of Verzuz is none other than music producer Swizz Beats. The Verzuz was a way for entertainers to compete. However, the competition between different artists is friendly. For the most part, these lighthearted competitions are very entertaining.  Keep in mind, the entertainers who participate in this competition have had much success in their music careers.

The idea is for each entertainer to play their hit tunes and sing along. The competition heats up when rival competitors each play songs from their collection. For instance, the iconic group “The Isley’s vs Earth, Wind, and Fire was very memorable. In fact, Ron” Mr. Big” Isley’s appearance saddle with his beard, well, let’s just say, Ron’s swag went to another level.  Listen, I could not stop myself from singing along with both groups. For me, it was one of the best Verzuz’s.

One of the most unique things about the Verzuz, the audience can decide who they think is the winner. Now, that is pure genius. Surely, Swizz Beats had no idea the Verzuz would become so popular. Verzuz is enjoying great success. In fact, the Gucci Mane vs Jeezy broke an “all-time Livestream viewership record, “with 9.1 million streamers, as reported by Toms Guide. Guess what, that was not the most popular Verzuz. The Brandy vs Monica had 1.2 million streamers watching.

Furthermore, after the event the winners were clear. The Lox (Jadakiss, Sheek Louch, and Styles P Jadakiss murdered Dipset (Jim Jones, Juelz Santana, Camron), all by himself. Sadly, Dipset was no match for them. Jadakiss came out with both barrels cocked and started firing. The Madison Square Garden Hulu Theater was smokin.

Hit songs like “Banned From TV”, where they were featured with N.O.R.E. Then DMX’s “Nigga Done Started Something” put the icing on the cake. Jadakiss called them out for not knowing the lyrics of their own songs. Which was evident. The battle was over in around 2 hours. Twitter deemed Jadakiss the MVP. This was one for the books.
