Comedian Godfrey Blasts Steven A. Smith. Also, he gives an interesting perspective on race.
Godfrey speaks on inequality and fairness
One of the funniest comedians I know went live with hosts O’God and SamAnt. This interview was funny yet very informative. Okay, I must admit, I am biased.
In my opinion, Godfrey is a great actor and comedian. The Chicago native has made quite a name for himself as an actor.
Godfrey acted in “Original Gangstas”, Johnson Family Vacation”, Phat Girlz”, Soul Plane”, The Cookout” and “Zoolander just to mention a few.
In addition, Godfrey had roles on TV shows such as, “The It Factor”, Third Watch”, Comedy Central Presents” and “I Love the ’90s.”
During his interview, Godfrey spoke about Stephen’s persona.
Which in a way does not present blacks in the best light. Especially, in the media. Also, Godfrey addressed some other topics that affect the black race.
For one thing, Godfrey believes we should tackle smaller issues of inequality. Then we can move onto the bigger problems.
For example, we should boycott unfair practices in our own neighborhoods. What I was able to gather, was Godfrey was passionate about issues we face as black people.
Although, Godfrey gave a comedic delivery in his conversation. The topics he addressed were very serious.
Although Godfrey did not reveal he graduated with a degree in Psychology, clearly it has influenced him.
Keep in mind, a lot of comedians speak about their life experiences in their routines. Surely, Godfrey is not different.
At the end of his interview, Godfrey mentioned he was one of the featured comedians on Tiffany Haddish’s new TV show, as reported by Chicago Now.
The popular show “Tiffany Haddish Presents: They Ready, is in season 2.
Needless to say, Godfrey’s routine was one of the best on the show.
